Race starts promptly at 8:00 AM. Remember to allow time to find parking and walk to the start line. If you plan to register day of we suggest you arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the start of the race.
The race is named in honor of Dr. Edgar Morgan. Dr. Morgan was a dedicated Kiwanis member and long-time advocate for the Louisville running community.

Early registration (non-refundable) - $20
Mail-in/online through July 20th. Mail-in registrations must be postmarked by July 15th.
Late registration (non-refundable) - $25
All registrants will receive a high quality Grand Slam 4 Mile race t-shirt (only pre-registered will be guaranteed a shirt on race day) and one ticket to the Bats game at 6:05 p.m. that evening against the Lehigh Valley Ironpigs and a Vince Coleman/Billy Hamilton dual bobblehead for the first 2000 people in attendance. Race morning behind Louisville Slugger Field starting at 7:00 a.m. and ending at 7:45 a.m.
AWARDS
Overall male and female will receive a Louisville Slugger baseball bat and will throw out the first pitch at the game that night. Top
three will receive a commemorative Hillerich and Bradsby Louisville Slugger Souvenir Baseball Bat.
Top three male and female in each age group will receive awards. Age groups: 9 and under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 and over.
Awards ceremony at 9:15 a.m.
Door prize drawings start at 9:00 a.m.
Late registration and packet pick-up will begin at 7:00 a.m. and will close at 7:45 a.m.
EVERY runner/walker will receive one complimentary General Admission ticket to the race night game at 6:05 p.m. The Overlook Deck will be reserved for race participants at that evening’s game. Additional tickets may be purchase for $3:00.
