The Valley O.NE Marathon will debut on April 24, 2021 in Valley, Nebraska, located just outside of Omaha. The 26.2-mile course, which features two loops on asphalt roads showcasing Valley’s small-town charm and Nebraskan countryside. The course has 32 feet of elevation change across the full marathon and is one of the flattest courses in the United States.
The race will cap registrations at 500 in both the half marathon and full marathon to ensure a safe event. Registration is $120 for the marathon and $90 for the half marathon until March 3. Prices increase to $150 for the marathon and $110 for the half marathon beginning March 4 and the registration system will close on April 3. Runners will receive a Brooks long-sleeve tech shirt, a medal and live runner tracking. The course will feature water stations near the 5K, 10K and 10 Mile and start/finish area. Those running the full will revisit each of those again on their second loop. Fleet Feet will have GU available to runners at the 10 Mile / 23 Mile mark.
The race will host some of America’s top marathon and half marathon runners and also serves as the Paralympic Selection Event to Ambulatory Athletes (athletes who are visually impaired and upper body amputees).
