Looking for water station volunteers and volunteers to hand out Finisher Medals at the Louisville Bats 5k on August 26th. Time commitment is from 7:00 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. Details on positions and to sign up here.
Race entry: $35 early bird through June 1st/$45 through August 24th/$55 at packet pickup and race day
Pre-race packet pickup and late registration Thursday, August 24th and Friday, August 25th at the Louisville Bats Gift Shop at Louisville Slugger Field from 11:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
Race morning at the rear entrance to Louisville Slugger Field starting at 7:00 a.m. until 7:45 a.m.
Race entry includes:
Baseball cap with Buddy Bat embroidered on it
Two dateless ticket vouchers sent when you register and good for any home game on the 2023 schedule
Finisher medals
Overall male/female and age group awards-Top three male and female in the following age groups: 9 and under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80 and over.

The Fleet Feet Team Challenge is open to any 3 to 5 person teams in three divisions: Male, Female, or Coed. Fastest three on each team are scored, the Coed team must score one woman. You will not only compete for team awards (members of each winning team will receive a Fleet Feet gift certificate); each team member is also eligible for an individual time and awards!
The Fleet Feet Team Challenge applies to all River City Races and Run the 502 events. At the end of the season (the Snowman Shuffle on February 10, 2024) the teams that win the most events (Male, Female and Co-ed) plus the team that completes the most events, each member will receive a personalized ¼ zip pullover with your name and team name!
There is no additional fee to participate in the Fleet Feet Team Challenge but a team and members must be declared by the Wednesday before each event. After then, changes and additions must be made by emailing runrivercity@gmail.com.
Packet pickup at inside Louisville Slugger Field on Friday, August 25th and race day on the back gate plaza starting at 7:00 a.m.
