Indiana residents: you can save lives while you drive with the Pet Friendly Plate! This plate funds thousands of spay/neuter surgeries each year, preventing the euthanasia of healthy and adoptable animals while addressing the root cause of shelter overpopulation. Don’t drive without this lifesaving plate!
The Fix 'Em 5k Run/1 Mile Virtual Walk race day will be on Saturday, June 17th, 2023 at Ashland Park in Clarksville, IN. Click here for a course map.
Results divisions include:
Dog Jog-how fast can you and your dog finish.
Stroller Strut-how fast can you and your stroller buddy manage a 5k
Human Race-get out there and blow it out!
Race entry includes:
-Gender specific, moisture wicking tech shirt or women's tank (perfect for summer running and walking)
-Finisher medal
-Finisher certificate
-Free class at Orangetheory Clarksville
-$5.00 donation to Pet Friendly Services of Indiana
-Packet mailing for an additional fee. Packet mailing free for virtual entrants.

In addition to overall awards for Dog Jog and Stroller Strut, in the Human Race awards to top three male and female overall, first male and female master and grandmaster. Top three male and female in each of the following age groups: 9 and under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79 and 80 & over.
This year's event will be raising funds for Pet Friendly Services of Indiana, an animal welfare organization with the mission to eliminate the euthanasia of adoptable cats and dogs through financial assistance, education, and advocacy. They provide free or discounted spay/neuter services to animal rescues, shelters, and income-qualified pet owners.
Pre-race packet pickup at Fleet Feet, 117 Breckinridge Ln. (St Matthews Station) Friday, June 16th from 11 AM until 6 PM. Race morning starting at 7AM at Ashland Park where the race starts and finishes.
All donations will address the root cause of shelter overpopulation, and make sure every animal gets to have the loving home they deserve.Learn more about them here!
Not up for a 5k, we also have a virtual 1 Mile Dog Jog, Stroller Strut and Human Run. Can't make it race day, we'll also have a virtual option to run the 5k.
A virtual race is a race that can be run or walked from any location you choose. You can run, jog, or walk on the road, on the trail, on a treadmill or track. You get to run your own race, at your own pace. Virtual runners not eligible for awards.
Introducing the Fleet Feet Team Challenge!
The Fleet Feet Team Challenge is open to any 3 to 5 person teams in three divisions: Male, Female, or Coed. Fastest three on each team are scored, the Coed team must score one woman. You will not only compete for team awards (members of each winning team will receive a Fleet Feet gift certificate); each team member is also eligible for an individual time and awards!
The Fleet Feet Team Challenge applies to all River City Races and Run the 502 events. At the end of the season (the Snowman Shuffle on February 10, 2024) the teams that win the most events (Male, Female and Co-ed) plus the team that completes the most events, each member will receive a personalized ¼ zip pullover with your name and team name!
There is no additional fee to participate in the Fleet Feet Team Challenge but a team and members must be declared by the Wednesday before each event. After then, changes and additions must be made by emailing runrivercity@gmail.com.

A fundraising page will be created for you! Just click the link in your registration confirmation email to find your page. Upload a fun picture, write a few words about why you're raising money for Pet Friendly Services of Indiana, and send your page out to your friends and family, inviting them to donate. All donations are tax-deductible and a donation receipt will be emailed to all donors.
Raise $250 or more and your registration will credited back to you!
