The FREE Norton Sports Health Training Program for the GE Appliances miniMarathon and Marathon is a 15-week program packed with in-person training options to get participants of all experience levels ready for Kentucky’s largest day of road racing on April 27, 2024.

All registrants receive:

  • One-page quick reference Official Training Plan (available at the kick-off)

  • Free downloadable Official Training Manual (available online only)

  • In-person weekly group runs with Stephanie Fish from Norton Sports Health (Wednesdays and Saturdays)

  • Marked routes, water stops and post-run snacks (Saturdays only)

  • Hill and track work tips

  • Wednesday post-run guided stretching and cross-training opportunities

  • Nutrition Tips

  • Pre-run warm-up, led by KORT Physical Therapy

NOTE: The first 800 people to register will receive a free tech shirt. (Once all tech shirts are claimed, registrants will still be able to register to participate in the program, however shirts are only promised to the first 800).

 

Norton Sports Health Training Program Kick-Off

Come out on Thursday, January 11 from 5:30-8:00 P.M. to the Kentucky Derby Museum to start your training journey!

Pick up the one-page quick reference Official Training Plan and meet your Norton Sports Health Training Experts and Physicians. Attendees will also have the chance to check out the exhibits at the Kentucky Derby Museum commemorating the annual Run for the Roses. Plus, be on the lookout for other swag items from our sponsors! NEW THIS YEAR: Get a sneak peek of the 2024 GE Appliances miniMarathon and Marathon race medals and the course.

The first 800 to register for the Norton Sports Health Training Program will receive a FREE Long-Sleeve Tech Shirt. Shirt and the one-page quick reference Official Training Plan swag pick-up will be at the Training Program Kick-Off at the Kentucky Derby Museum this year.
