In 1994, the KDF miniMarathon was held in downpour that lasted the whole race. Nearly 5,000 runners finished and Rob Shoaf was the overall winner in a time of 1:07:58 and Mary Anne Tonini won the women's division.

There wasn't a Triple Crown winner in 1994 as there were different winners in all three races.
